This is a great link we have which originally generated from Joe Tings rugby expertise, helping out with the extra curricular programme. The relationship with Joe, his company Munchkin Sports and Hayes School has thrived over the last couple of years. Not only do Joe and his colleagues work with our rugby squads, but have now taken on some of our 6th formers to help run Munchkins Sports which is run here for younger students on a Friday afternoon.
Hayes Cricket Club
We have a great relationship with Hayes Cricket Club where many of our students represent them as part of the club. We are very fortunate to be able to use these facilities for our fixtures, as well as students receiving top quality coaching form the staff at the Club.
HAYES school is hoping to inspire future Olympians by joining forces with a nearby sports club.
Old Wilsonians Club
is the latest organisation to join the school’s Sports Partnership.
Students from the school, in West Common Road, Hayes, have attended free coaching sessions which are run by tennis coach Jake Johnson.
The youngsters will also get a chance to use the four artificial grass courts and two hard courts, all of which are floodlit, a practice wall and automatic ball "firing" machine at the club, in Hayes Hill Road, Bromley.
Hayes PE teacher Nic Christo said: "We are delighted to have created a sporting partnership with Old Wilsonians Tennis club. "We are always looking to create opportunities for our students and feel this partnership has the potential to be massively effective for both parties."
