We are looking for a team of up to 10 students to support us in an exciting project with Carbon Credentials, a company based in London who work with businesses in order to develop a more sustainable way of managing their businesses. Hayes has been selected as one of the first schools in the country to work them to make the school more energy efficient and sustainable.
We are looking for students in Years 10, 11, 12 and 13 who have an interest in the environment and sustainability. It would ideally suit students who are studying Geography or have a real interest in the STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths) subjects. Year 12 students could use this as part of an EPQ and there may be work experience opportunities available to students following this project.
We are really excited about this project and this a unique opportunity for our students to work alongside experts in this field.
This opportunity has arisen following contact with the school by a former student, Phil Warren, with whom we are looking forward to working on this project.
