Enrichment at Hayes

2023-2024

Hayes offers a fantastic Enrichment Programme which gives students the opportunity to be involved in a wide range of projects, competitive and non-competitive sports, creative and performing arts as well as academic booster classes. Many activities are run by teachers and support staff but we also work with external organisations and specialist providers to ensure a high quality offer for students.

Enrichment clubs offer a fun way to make new friends while trying new activities and developing new skills. As well as being enjoyable, participating in extra-curricular activities will help you become more involved in wider school life. They will help you to develop personal qualities, which will be viewed positively when applying for jobs or a place at university.

We want every student at Hayes to participate in the Enrichment programme as we have seen that students who take an active role in these activities display higher levels of self-esteem, a heightened sense of belonging, increased attendance and develop positive friendship groups. This can help improve the students’ moral and social development, health and wellbeing and academic performance.

There is an extensive range of clubs and activities that are offered before and after school as well as at lunchtime across a range of Departments.
