Medical

If a student becomes unwell during lesson time, they must get their planner signed by the teacher whose lesson they are in and report to Student Reception. Or if a student becomes unwell at break or lunchtime they must get their planner signed by the Year Group Achievement Co-Ordinator and report to Student Reception.

Once at Student Reception a First Aider will assess the student and admit them to the Medical Room if necessary. The First Aider will inform Year Group Achievement Co-Ordinators when students are regularly being referred to Student Reception.

Students will be sent back to lesson if the First Aider deems them well enough.

Students are not permitted to contact parents/carers themselves. Mobile phones must be handed in to Student Reception before being admitted to the Medical Room.
